What is your why?

Why do we do what we do? It's a simple question, but it can be difficult to find an answer. For some of us, the answer is obvious. We want to make money, or we want to help people, or we want to change the world. But for others, the answer is less clear. We live our lives day by day, going through the motions without really knowing why. So what is my why? I'm honestly not sure. Maybe it's because I enjoy the challenge of solving problems. Or maybe it's because I like feeling useful and helping others. Or maybe it's because I'm just a naturally curious person who likes to learn new things. Whatever the reason, I'm grateful for it. Without my why, my life would be much less meaningful.

How do you find your why?

There's no single answer to the question of how to find your "why" in life. For some people, it's a clear and obvious calling. They've always known what they're meant to do and they rarely veer off course. For others, the path is less clear. They may have a general idea of the direction they want to head in, but they're not sure what their specific purpose is. And that's perfectly okay! The important thing is to keep moving forward and exploring new possibilities until you find something that feels right for you. Here are a few ideas to get you started on your journey:

1. Pay attention to what brings you joy. What are the things that make you feel truly alive and fulfilled? When you're doing those things, do you lose track of time or feel like you could do them forever? Those are good indications that you've found your passion.

2. Think about what makes you unique. What skills and talents do you have that others don't? How can you use those gifts to make a difference in the world?

3. Consider your values and beliefs. What do you stand for? What causes are you passionate about? When you align your actions with your values, it's much easier to stay motivated and focused on what's important to you.

Trying to accomplish something that's beyond your abilities will only lead to frustration and disappointment. But if you focus on using your strengths to achieve your goals, you'll be much more likely to succeed.

5. Be patient. Finding your "why" is a process, and it doesn't always happen overnight. It may take some trial and error before you find something that really clicks for you. But if you keep exploring and growing, eventually you'll find your way.

Why is it important to have a why?
